People

The success of any research group is certainly influence by the intellectual, managerial and technical capability of its leadership, but equally important is the commitment and contribution of a talented team of researchers. The Capon group has benefited from the input of many individual over the years, including undergraduates, Honours students and occupational trainees from a diverse range of backgrounds (too numerous to list). Current and a selection of past members of the Capon Group are listed under:

  • Postgraduate: Science graduates keen on taking their career training to the highest professional level, through original research designed to secure a PhD.
  • Postdoctoral: Extending from early career researchers who have recently completed a PhD and are gaining a broader work and professional experience, to more senior academic researchers undertaking visiting (sabbatical) appointments.
  • General Staff: Such individuals support and drive capacity across both laboratory based activities, as well as the many administrative duties that permit a research group to function effectively.
  • Alumni: A selection of past members of the Capon Group (limited to postgraduate, postdoctoral and general staff).
